Rachel has undertaken extensive training in providing acupuncture treatment for increasing natural fertility, studying with nationally renowned practitioners to ensure that she has a thorough knowledge of the reproductive system from a western and Chinese medicine perspective and is therefore able to give the highest level of care possible. Rachel is also a member of the Acupuncture Fertility Network (AFN) which is a ‘professional special interest group for acupuncturists dedicated to supporting those with fertility issues’.

Acupuncture has been used in China for centuries to assist both the female and male reproductive system. Modern research is is showing that there is substance to this ancient knowledge and as a result, many couples are choosing to use acupuncture as a method of boosting their fertility.

Recent studies have shown acupuncture to be effective when used to both boost fertility naturally and also when used in conjunction with Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) such as IVF and ICSI.
